There are some key areas of practice variation, both, at the level of provider, and different specialties. The goal of the lecture series is to address these variations, present up to date information on diagnosis and management and allow an environment for ongoing clinical education and discussion.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe key characteristics of the pediatric trauma patient to improve overall care and treatment plan.
  2. Describe the differences in the care of pediatric versus adults.
  3. Explain the integration of the multidisciplinary team in the care of the pediatric trauma patient.

Accreditation
The MetroHealth System is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
