Pediatric Trauma Lecture Series

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABP MOC Part 2 (1.00 hours), ABS CC (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

The educational series is aimed at providers, APPs, nurses, and anyone from the multidisciplinary team caring for the injured pediatric patient. There are some key areas of practice variation, both, at the level of provider, and different specialties. The goal of the lecture series is to address these variations, present up to date information on diagnosis and management and allow an environment for ongoing clinical education and discussion.

1. Describe key characteristics of the pediatric trauma patient to improve overall care and treatment plan.
2. Describe the differences in the care of pediatric versus adults.
3. Explain the integration of the multidisciplinary team in the care of the pediatric trauma patient.

The MetroHealth System is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
