Ronnie Fass, MD Director, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, invites you to attend the 11th. Annual MetroHealth GI Symposium. The goal of this conference is to provide an excellent learning platform for cutting edge continuing medical education and clinical research in both GI and Hepatology. Experts from our Gastroenterology and Hepatology division will speak on a variety of topics ranging from motility to hepatology. There will also be talks by world-renowned guest speakers. There will also be several talks geared toward the nongastroenterologist providers.

1. Define an endoflip is and describe when should a patient undergo an endoflip.
2. Discuss endoscopic tools and how they are used to evaluate the liver and liver diseases.
3. Explain surgical and endoscopic techniques to evaluate and treat pancreatico-biliary disease.
4. Describe different medications and how to transition from one to another and indications of use for Crohns Disease.
5. Explain the timing of surgical treatment for Crohn's disease.
6. Evaluate and treat functional dyspepsia.
7. Evaluate and come up with treatment plans for GERD.
8. Evaluate and come up with treatment plans for IBS.
9. Screen, evaluate and treat hepatitis c infections.
10. Describe the different noninvasive liver tests and use based upon practice and patient preference.

The MetroHealth System is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
